Split angle accuracy matters in Leaps and Jumps. When the leap or jump shows a missing split angle by 1–20 degrees, the judge applies a deduction from the element’s value, capped at 0.20. At the same time, the element can still earn its Value Part and its Special Requirement credit if the rest of the criteria are met. So, you incur a minor deduction for the incomplete split, but the VP/SR recognition remains.
